Rev Vuyani Gladstone “Vido” Nyobole brings to SMMS vast leadership experience in the church, the non-profit sector and the corporate world. He has scaled the heights of both corporate and denominational leadership. Within the MCSA, he reached the pinnacle of leadership when he served as General Secretary of the denomination. He holds Master of Education, Bachelor of Education, as well as Bachelor of Theology (Honours) degrees. He also has qualifications in Fundraising, HR Management, Organisational Development, Financial management, among many others.
Rev Luvuyo Gladstone SifoDean of the Chapel & Head of Formation BCur, Dip. Nurs. (Critical Care: General), BTh, BA Hons (Theol.), MA (Theol.)
Rev Luvuyo Sifo comes to SMMS after serving the local church for ten years. As a qualified and specialised professional nurse, he served in the healthcare industry both in public and private institutions for 9 years before candidating for ministry. Registered with the Association of Christian Religious Practitioners and the Council for Pastoral and Spiritual Counsellors, Rev Sifo is a Level 6 religious specialist in Christian Pastoral Counselling. He has served in various leadership portfolios in the MCSA both as a lay person and as a minister.
Dr Rowanne MarieAcademic Dean PhD
Dr Marie was the first appointed staff member of the SMMS in 2008. Prior to this, Rowanne was the Head of the Church and Development Programme at the Evangelical Seminary of Southern Africa (ESSA), where she served for 8 years. Her experience in Higher Education has allowed her to successfully steer the Seminary through its accreditation and registration as a Private Higher Education Provider.
Ms Robinson served for 12 years as national director of an international Christian media ministry, developing “Equipping to Share”, a discipleship programme. Her interests include Christian Counselling and prison ministry. She served as the undergraduate administrator at the former School of Religion and Theology, UKZN, before commencing her position as Administrator at SMMS in January 2011.
A passion for finances and administration in non-profit organisations, Hennie has been involved in finances since 1990. He took a break in 2007 to study theology, BTh (Hons), at the Cape Town Baptist Seminary until end of 2010. He served at the Estcourt Community Church as Pastor in 2011 and then back to finances at the Evangelical Seminary of Southern Africa as Financial Manager from 2012 until February 2019. Hennie joined SMMS in March 2019.
